Pandan leaf water is a leaf distillate (hydrosol) rich in aromatic compounds and simple polyphenols. It helps reduce post-cleansing tightness and supports a soothing sensation, with a subtle natural aroma. It blends easily into the aqueous phase and pairs well with humectants such as glycerin, propanediol, and hyaluronic acid.

How to use:

●       Add to the aqueous phase or during cool-down (≤ 45–50 °C) to preserve aroma.

●       In sprays/toners: use alone or with humectants and a chelator such as disodium EDTA.

●       In emulsions: replace a portion of the water; add in cool-down with gentle stirring and monitor stability/aroma over time.

Recommended usage levels in skincare:

●       Toners/face mists/sheet masks: 10–100% (commonly 20–80%)

●       Gels/serums: 10–50%

●       Creams/lotions (O/W): 5–30% of the total aqueous phase

●       Cleansers/body wash: 5–20%
 Adjust levels to the desired scent strength and formula stability.

Solubility:

●       Miscible with water and polyols (glycerin, propanediol)

●       Insoluble in oils; for anhydrous or bi-phase systems use an appropriate solubilizer/emulsifier such as Polysorbate 20 or PEG-40 HCO and verify clarity
