Phenoxyethanol + Ethylhexylglycerin is a broad-spectrum preservative blend used in skincare and personal care products to help protect formulas from microbial contamination. Phenoxyethanol works mainly against bacteria, while Ethylhexylglycerin boosts preservative performance and adds mild skin-conditioning benefits. It is commonly used in creams, lotions, serums, cleansers, toners, masks, and other water-containing cosmetic formulations.

Usage:
Add during the cool-down phase of production, preferably below 40–45°C. Mix well until fully uniform. Final product should be tested for pH, stability, and microbiological preservation effectiveness.

Common use level: 0.8% – 1.0%

Solubility:
Slightly soluble in water. More compatible with glycols, alcohols, surfactant systems, and emulsions. Can be used in water-based formulas if properly mixed and dispersed.
